Sustainability at HAIYUAN safety

Guided by the principle of protecting the people, HAIYUAN is committed to taking sustainable and socially responsible actions towards its employees, students, customers, partners, and suppliers. This responsibility is our commitment to humanity and the environment – what we call the commitment to protect the planet.

  1. Solar photovoltaic panels: Most of our factory’s electricity comes from green energy, and using solar photovoltaic panels reduces our dependence on traditional energy and reduces carbon dioxide emissions.
  2. Waste recycling: Waste is placed in recyclable or regular trash cans and then transported to the garbage warehouse. Part of the waste will be reused in advance, large pieces of fabric scraps will be used to make clothing at the appropriate time, and plastic bags will be reused to store small item inventory. We convert waste into reusable resources through waste recycling, reducing the demand for natural resources and minimizing waste generation to the greatest extent possible.
  3. Hazardous waste: Due to the nature of our operations, the amount of hazardous waste generated is extremely small. These wastes will be stored in a secure temporary warehouse and await disposal by a certified waste management company.
  4. Environmentally friendly building materials: We have chosen specialized roof materials with good thermal insulation performance and applied UV resistant film to the factory windows, reducing dependence on air conditioning and improving energy efficiency.
  5. Allocation: We have established a system that encourages integrated transportation. This applies to bulk clothing transportation, even mailing samples. By integrating the transportation of more goods, carbon emissions during the transportation process can be reduced.
  6. Supply chain interaction: We encourage all parties in the supply chain to work together and achieve sustainable development. Suppliers who fail to meet the expected standards of sustainable development will not be included in the procurement scope.

 We also help our clients reduce their environmental impact by working with them to find alternative packaging to reduce the use of plastic bags, and encouraging the use of recycled plastics when necessary. For some customers, we package 5-10 pieces of clothing in each packaging bag to reduce plastic usage.

7. Manufacturing capital: This refers to all material resources and energy consumed during the manufacturing process. We have taken multiple measures to improve the sustainability of manufacturing capital, such as collecting and storing rainwater in water tanks, and then reusing it for temperature regulation systems and bathroom facilities. The lighting system has recently undergone a comprehensive renovation, replacing it with more efficient LED lights, and the bathroom has also been equipped with a dynamic lighting system. Water dispensers have also been installed around the factory to reduce the use of disposable water bottles.
